Our original name was North Stag, but when that name wasn’t available, we set out to create something that still captured our identity, our roots, and our vision. We wanted a name with meaning - something people would talk about, connect with, and remember.
Nord - Nord means “North” or “Northern” in many languages, especially in Nordic regions.
This reflects where we’re from 'the North of England' and our love for the rugged beauty of Northern Scotland. It embodies the landscapes, the culture, and the spirit that inspire us.
Buck - The buck, or stag, symbolises strength, resilience, power and leadership. Across cultures, folklore, and mythology, the stag has always been seen as a majestic creature with deep symbolic meaning.
For us, it represents the values we want our brand to carry: confidence, courage, and a connection to nature.
Together We Win - Our slogan exists to represent unity, support, and the belief that we rise higher when we help each other. It’s a reminder that no matter the challenge, we achieve more when we face it together.
Our Designs - Every design we create reflects our name, our story, and our vision. They’re inspired by the the majestic stag and the powerful symbolism behind them - mixed with styles we genuinely love and hope our customers will love too.
While we do have a store -📍 83 Euston Road, Morecambe, LA4 5JY - many of our items are made to order. This approach reduces waste, lessens our environmental impact, and ensures that every product is crafted with care.
All our designs are original, and every clothing item is sourced right here in the UK. We’re committed to sustainability, eco-friendly practices, and delivering the highest quality to our customers.
